Clinical Supervision

At Kelly Clinical Consulting, we provide clinical supervision for LCSWs-in-training in Florida, Tennessee, and Illinois. Our approach is practical, supportive, and designed to help clinicians thrive—not just pass a licensure exam.

OUR SUPERVISION PHILOSOPHY

  •  Collaborative: Supervision is a partnership — a space where your voice, curiosity, and professional goals are central. We’ll approach challenges together through open dialogue and shared problem-solving.

  • Strengths-Based: We build on what you do well while identifying areas for growth with curiosity, not criticism. Supervision is meant to encourage confidence, creativity, and self-awareness as you evolve as a clinician.

  • Integrative: We draw from grief work, trauma-informed practice, attachment theory, family systems, and creative interventions to support you with a holistic and reflective perspective.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Case consultation with practical feedback and resources grounded in current, evidence-based practice. Together we’ll explore interventions, clinical decision-making, and ethical considerations in real-world cases.

  • Skills development focused on deepening your use of attachment-based, systems, and trauma-informed approaches. We’ll work on integrating clinically supported strategies in areas such as grief counseling, emotional regulation, and relational attunement.

  • Licensure preparation and exam readiness with step-by-step guidance, confidence-building strategies, and personalized review tools to help you approach the process with clarity and assurance.

  • Support in navigating ethics, boundaries, and professional challenges with confidence and compassion. Supervision provides space to process countertransference, burnout, and self-care through a reflective, strengths-based lens.

The Supervision Experience

Choosing a clinical supervisor is one of the most meaningful decisions you’ll make in your professional journey. It shapes not only your growth as a clinician, but also how you experience confidence, clarity, and connection in your work.

At Kelly Clinical Consulting, supervision is designed to be both grounding and growth-oriented. You can expect a thoughtful balance of clinical reflection, case consultation, and professional mentorship — all within a space that values authenticity and curiosity.

Sessions often include exploring clinical challenges, identifying strengths, and integrating evidence-based approaches with your natural therapeutic style. We’ll discuss not only what you do in session, but also how you think and feel as a clinician — because self-awareness is foundational to competent, ethical practice.

Supervision is also a place to talk openly about boundaries, self-care, and the realities of clinical work. You’ll be supported in building confidence, finding your voice, and developing your professional identity as a social worker.
