Below are answers to some common questions about therapy, fees, and getting started.
FAQ
I work with adults located in Florida, Illinois, and Tennessee who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed.
At this time, I offer counseling exclusively via teletherapy. Sessions are conducted securely online and can be attended from a private, comfortable location within the states where I am licensed.
Virtual therapy takes place through a secure video platform rather than in a traditional office setting. You can attend sessions from the comfort of your home or another private location using your phone, tablet, or computer. Many people find virtual therapy to be convenient, flexible, and just as effective as in-person counseling. All sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to protect your privacy.
The fee for individual therapy is $130 per 55-minute session. I am in-network with some insurance plans. If I am out-of-network with your plan, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. A limited number of sliding scale spots may be available depending on financial need. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions about fees or payment options.
I am in-network with some insurance plans and out-of-network with others. If I am not in-network with your plan, you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits. In those cases, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to learn more about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
To get started, you can fill out the inquiry form on the contact page. I personally review all inquiries and will reach out to talk about next steps. If it feels like a good fit, I’ll share scheduling options or we can start with a brief consultation if that would be helpful.
